Dear Sisters and Brothers,

This Labor Day, Monday, September 2, 2013, we will celebrate the 34th Anniversary of our Labor Day Parade. We celebrate the contribution of many that have made our yearly Parade possible throughout the years, and those of our Union Sisters and Brothers that have passed on. It is with great pride that we look back on labor's victories and struggles for living wages, single-payer healthcare, pensions, and work place safety.

Through the tough economy we have seen many workers lose their jobs, homes, and livelihoods. Basic workers rights are continually being eroded at an alarming rate by a well-funded organized corporate political agenda. Striking fear and uncertainly into all workers and their families.

Labor Day is a day where workers exercise their right to march and speak out against these attacks. Together we must fight to give workers the right to unionize. Another year of action has already presented new challenges as we continue the fight on and beyond Labor Day.

Thank you for your participation throughout the years and at this 34th Annual Labor Day Solidarity March and Rally!
